This spring, starting in mid-April we are offering STEEL CHALLENGE shooting. Starting with all forms of .22 caliber rimfire. It IS challenging and FUN! Just steel plates that clang. Accuracy and speed from a shooting box.
Below are the two most common beginners steel challenge course of fire stage descriptions. We will offer these plus steel silhouette rimfire shooting and more!
Imagine an event where 8,000 students gather, each equipped with a shotgun, collectively firing nearly a million rounds of ammunition over 9 days. Welcome to the Minnesota State High School Trap Shooting Championship. Some might think this is a recipe for disaster, while others see it as a celebration, filled with skilled competition and camaraderie. One thing is certain: This annual event is a significant highlight for all participants.

COLYSO - Chain O'Lakes Youth Shooting Organization is a true 501 C-3 non-profit. All donations to COLYSO help provide our programs. It funds ammunition and expenses for youth training and competitions. Young people shoot FREE at COLYSO.
Our regular public events also have youth rates for shotgun. Participate in an organized youth program and youth shoot FREE.
We offer .22 caliber instruction, shoots, and competition for youth.
We shoot steel silhouette, steel challenge and trap - shotgun shooting. We also started this fall organized archery instruction working with our local Bellaire Youth Imitative (BYI) after school programs.
